Do-overs

Single-edition, acrylic-markers on canvas. If you’re interested in any of these works, feel free to contact me

Sometimes I’m happy with my paintings, many times I’m not. When the latter is the case, I usually just paint the canvas black. With nothing left to lose, I embrace the creative process. As opposed to my other work which is sketched out and carefully planned, my do-overs are spontaneous without any rules.

In the do-overs collection I fill the canvas with a variety of characters telling different stories, some based on real-life events. I explore the relationship between these characters and try to do so with simple strokes, using black space to create a sense of depth.
