New art collection by Ran Kunst available

When Scott Pilgrim vs the World by Edgar Wright was released in 2010 I was blown away by the film. Based on characters and stories from the imagination of Bryan Lee O'Malley the movie is original, funny, visually stunning and filled with amazing music. 

When I started to explore the relationship between my Shouter character and characters from popular media, I knew that I would eventually create a collection based on the movie and graphic novels featuring Scott Pilgrim and the additional characters. With 8 new paintings, I’m happy to kick off this collection.

I started out dressing up the Shouters as characters from the movie but soon realized that for this collection it was more fitting for the Shouter to wear these characters as crowns. The collection consists of 60x60 cm single edition paintings. They are all hand-painted with acrylics on canvas. The paintings are signed on the back and are accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
